San Pedro, Belize
San Pedro was a special stop during my journey through Belize. An island where the Caribbean surroundings and local life come together, shaped by different cultures and traditions.
Between Cultures
During my time on the island, I experienced the cultural mix that is part of Belize, especially its Maya roots and Garifuna culture. This diversity became an important part of the experience, allowing me to see the place from a closer and more personal perspective.
Painting Along the Way
As part of the adventure, I had the chance to bring my work into new spaces. I painted a mural on the exterior of Horizon Hotel Belize and also created a small sign for a Garifuna restaurant. Simple projects, but meaningful opportunities to connect art with the places and people I encountered along the way.
